Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced high school or college player, we can help you improve your skills 2009 Spartans Summer Softball Camp Bergen & Rockland Counties Premier Softball Camp We're pleased to announce the dates for our 10th Annual Spartans Softball Camp! The camp will run 5 weeks starting June 29. We will hold two weeks at Holy Family Catholic Academy in Norwood, NJ. Camp will run from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday rain or shine and is open to all boys and girls ages 5 - 16. Last year's camp was a complete sellout and we expect this summer to sell out even quicker! We also will run Advanced Softball Camps in Old Tappan, NJ, Cresskill, NJ and Nanuet, NY. These dates and locations will be announced soon. For those that only want to work on their Windmill Pitching, we will again run our Annual Summer Windmill Pitching Clinics. These clinics will take place from June 29 - July 10, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. These clinic are only for those who want to work on Windmill Pitching only. We have an outstanding staff of Professional, College and High School Coaches as well as present and former college players on hand to instruct at the camp. Whether your child is a total beginner, an advanced player or somewhere in between, we've got a program for you. Learn basic skills and advanced techniques from professional coaches in a fun, relaxed environment. Our coaches are also State Certified Teachers with advanced degrees in education. Our coaches are also CPR and First Aid Certified and we are registered and inspected by the NJ Dept of Health.
Tuition: Holy Family Location $275 one week. $245 each additional week. 1/2 Day camp $175 per week. $25 sibling discount offered to full day campers. Players are divided into separate age groups. Each age group has their own field to practice and play on. Each group is headed by an adult. We have classrooms available for each age group and each classroom has cable television and VCR's for video instruction. We have the option of eating lunch at the fields or in classrooms depending on the weather. Each Camper Receives:
Camp will be held at Holy Family Catholic Academy in Norwood, NJ for two weeks (June 29 - July 10). Advanced softball camps will be held in Old Tappan, NJ, Cresskill, NJ and Nanuet, NY. Holy Family Catholic Academy is located in North East Bergen County, NJ. Minutes from the Rockland County, NY border. Holy Family is located minutes away from the GW Bridge and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Directions will be sent to all those who enroll. We have total access to the school including classrooms and an indoor gymnasium for inclement weather. There are no other activities held at the school other than our camp. With the opening of our Spartans Sports Academy, we have access to air conditioned indoor batting cages. We will be using 10 beautifully manicured outdoor fields with plenty of shade! We will have indoor and outdoor batting cages this year! Our camp runs for a full day Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) rain or shine as we have indoor facilities in case of inclement weather. Even though we've got 2 air-conditioned facilities to keep cool, sometimes you just need a little more....That's when our Pitch Burst Game comes out. When it gets really hot, we keep you really cool. Much safer than a traditional dunk tank, but just as fun and just as wet. Kids have a great time with this!
