February Weekend Clinics 

Hitting Clinics

Covers all aspects of baseball and softball hitting.  Players are taught by professional coaches in our private indoor training center. 

Age specific training will be taught such as pitch selection, opposite field hitting, 2 strike hitting, hitting for power and average. 

Rotational hitting mechanics will be taught to each player in an attempt to maximize each players power. 

Both basic and advanced hitting skills will be taught. 

These clinics are open to boys and girls age 5 - 12.

Pitching Clinics

Pitching Velocity Program - This is a unique program designed to increase the pitcher's accuracy and velocity.  Our coaches will work on your pitching mechanics to get your to use your legs more.  This program is both for beginners and advanced players. 

Pitchers will be taught proper mechanics and will use resistance bands, medicine balls as well as other training devices to strengthen their arms.  Age specific pitches will be taught in a controlled environment under the watchful eyes of our professional coaches. 

We have had 3 of our pitchers drafted into professional baseball and numerous players have gone on the college.  Each pitcher will get a detailed pitch count for their age and ability level to follow during their upcoming season.  Players will also be videotaped and will watch their mechanics with one of our coaches.  If your son wants to learn to pitch or if he already pitches and wants to get better, this program is for you!  

By refining your pitching mechanics, your velocity will increase and the overall health of your arm will be better!

The pitching clinics are open to boys ages 7 - 12 and 13 and Older.

The Spartans Sports Academy is located at 19 Williams St.  It's a private, climate controlled facility that offers 3 batting tunnels and various pitching mounds and pitching machines.  We just had new turf installed which is the same turf that is used by the NFL's Buffalo Bills in their indoor training facility!
